2008 campaign and Ron Paul06 Nov 2007 06:05 pm

Just a quick update on the result of the www.ThisNovember5th.com fundraising drive for Ron Paul. While the effort fell well short of the overly optimistic $10 million dollar goal, the $4.2 million from 36,672 internet donors it did bring in was anything but chicken feed. It also surpassed the previous $3.1 million internet record set last January by the Mitt Romney campaign. I think even Jerry Lewis has to be a bit envious of such an accomplishment. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words:

To me what is as impressive as this one day effort is the fact that Paul’s fund raising is averaging nearly $500 thousand dollars a day. Of course, I don’t know if that average has been skewed somewhat by the November 5th avalanche. Just the same, the lamestream media is going to have to acknowledge that the Ron Paul campaign is for real and realize that they have failed to sell their “2nd tier” Kool Aid to America. Right Fox News?
